Sue Cunningham Endowed Music Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

1. Must be a full-time, registered student at Mansfield University. Any major is eligible for this award.

2. One scholarship recipient will be chosen from current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors (to be awarded to a student in their sophomore, junior, or senior year) at an annual spring semester audition. Students will be invited to the audition following an application process and review.

3. Scholarship recipient must be registered for at least one of the following auditioned large ensembles both fall and spring semesters of the awarded year-Orchestra, Concert Jazz Band, or Concert Wind Ensemble.

4. The recipient must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA

5. If more than one qualified applicant is identified, the award will be given to the student with the greatest financial need as identified by Financial Aid.

6. The recipient will be required to perform at the annual Hickory Fest in Stony Fork, PA, generally held on the third weekend of August. (The student recipient will be notified of the date of the Festival at the time of the award.)
