Dr. John D. Trimmer Scholarship Endowment

This fund was established by retired Mansfield University Porfessor, Theodore Slabey to honor his friend Dr. John D. Trimmer. Professor Slabey taught in the Business and Computer Science Department. Throughout his long lasting career he worked with and was impressed by the diligence, dedication and work ethic of numerous non-traditional students. Unfortunately, too many lacked ample financial resources to enhance their college experience thus making the task of learning more difficult. By establishing this scholarship, Professor Slabey hoped to ease some of the worry from these eager, but financially challenged students.
