John Heaps and Winifred Neff Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dr. Ronald and Mrs. Marsha Markert in tribute to Ronald’s cousin Winifred Neff as well as his professor, coach, mentor, and friend, John Heaps; both of whom retired from Mansfield University after distinguished teaching careers. Both are from Ronald’s hometown, Renovo, PA. The purpose of this fund is to pay tribute to the legacy of these two individuals by providing recognition and financial assistance to outstanding students.
